Dr. Samuel Ogbuku is the visionary Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), where he is championing a bold, reform-driven and people-centered transformation of the Niger Delta region.
Born on August 19, 1975, in Ayakoro, Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, Dr. Ogbuku is a distinguished political scientist holding a doctorate in Political and Administrative Studies. With over two decades of multidimensional experience spanning public service, grassroots activism, governance strategy, and private-sector leadership, he represents a new generation of technocratic leadership grounded in both academic rigor and practical impact.
Prior to his appointment as Managing Director of the NDDC in January 2023, Dr. Ogbuku served in several high-level strategic positions, including:
