ONG AUX GRANDS CŒURS: Serving the most Vulnerable in Kinshasa

by qlebw

For more than a decade, one woman has dedicated her time, energy, and resources to restoring hope to those most in need. That woman is Mrs. Sylvie Kilubemu, President of ONG Aux Grands Cœurs.

Based in Paris and active in Kinshasa since 2014, the organization works tirelessly to support vulnerable populations, including children, the elderly, struggling families, and individuals living in extreme poverty.

Driven by the belief that every human being deserves dignity and compassion, the organization provides practical assistance through food aid, medical support, social care, and accompaniment during life’s most difficult moments.

One of its most impactful initiatives is the program “A Hungry Stomach Has No Ears.” Recognizing that thousands of children were unable to concentrate in school because of hunger, the organization launched a daily breakfast program consisting of nutritious corn-and-soy porridge, milk bread, and other essential nourishment. More than 1,200 students and teachers benefited from the initiative over several months, with remarkable improvements in school attendance and academic performance.

Beyond nutrition, the organization regularly distributes school supplies, supports elderly care homes, assists vulnerable families, and works relentlessly to improve the living conditions of those most in need.

However, the challenges remain enormous. Despite achieving significant results through its own limited resources, ONG Aux Grands Cœurs is determined to do even more. To expand its impact, the organization is seeking partners, donors, and compassionate individuals who share its humanitarian vision.

School supplies, medical equipment, beds, blankets, sewing machines, bakery ovens, vehicles, agricultural equipment, and sanitation facilities are among the many resources needed. Every contribution has the power to transform lives.

Together, we can build a more caring and inclusive future. ONG Aux Grands Cœurs extends an open invitation to all who believe in the power of generosity, solidarity, and shared responsibility.

Alone, we can go faster. Together, we can go farther.

Join us in making a lasting difference in the lives of the most vulnerable communities in Kinshasa.
