Nsiampasi Nsiete Laurent Pitshou is a Congolese engineer and entrepreneur specializing in studies, control missions, and the execution of construction works for road, sports, building, and all forms of housing infrastructures; including environmental management through sanitation and the beautification of urban environments.
Born in Kinshasa, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, he obtained his engineering degree from the Institut Supérieur des Techniques Appliquées (ISTA) in Kinshasa.
His professional career is marked by leadership roles in various organizations.
Since 1998, he has been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the NGO called Fondation 98, which focuses on community development, social welfare, human health, and the promotion of Congolese women in particular and African women in general.
He is also the Chairman of the Management Board of the company MEPS Continental Sarl, a consulting and engineering firm specializing in architecture and construction dedicated to infrastructure and public works projects; as well as projects related to energy, hydrocarbons, transportation, industry, processing, sports, etc.
Furthermore, he holds the presidency of the National Network of Sanitation, Development, and Greenery Structures, abbreviated RENASAV CONGO (an entity that federates more than 100 Congolese NGOs, ASBLs, and SMEs) involved in related sectors.
As a supplier of goods and services, Laurent Nsiete acts as a key business facilitator and contributor in his field. He is actively involved in mentoring young athletes, widowed women, single mothers, orphaned children, and elderly people; without forgetting or abandoning his passion for environmental management in the DRC, by promoting sustainable urban practices.
In addition, Laurent Nsiete is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Health Mutual for Teachers in Private Schools of the DRC; he provides administrative supervision for initiatives in quality healthcare for its beneficiaries and their dependents.
In his role as a politician, while fulfilling his advocacy duties, Laurent Nsiete is the Secretary General of a political party called La Ligue pour la Défense des Intérêts des Citoyens, abbreviated LDIC, a structure that aims to defend citizens’ rights and public well-being, in order to humanize the living conditions of our populations.
