Paris, France — The 2026 edition of the SIAP (Salon de l’Investissement Immobilier Africain à Paris) has reached a pivotal milestone, underscoring the growing alignment between diplomacy and finance in advancing Africa’s real estate sector.
A high-level institutional meeting, led by Dr. Élie Nkamgueu, President of Club Efficience, alongside Vice President Me Solange Siyapdje, convened African diplomatic missions accredited in France, key players from the continental banking sector, and federations of real estate developers.
The strategic gathering provided a platform for dialogue at the intersection of economic diplomacy and cross-border investment, with a shared objective: to unlock the full potential of Africa’s real estate market for both domestic and diaspora investors.
Two core priorities guided the discussions.
First, participants emphasized the need to strengthen diplomatic outreach by enhancing coordination within African embassies. Improved communication channels are expected to better promote real estate opportunities across the continent to members of the African diaspora.
Second, stakeholders addressed the critical role of financial institutions in enabling investment. Discussions focused on establishing robust, transparent, and secure mechanisms to facilitate cross-border financial transactions—an essential step toward building investor confidence and scaling property acquisition.
Beyond the formal sessions, the atmosphere reflected both purpose and optimism. The venue was marked by a warm and engaging ambiance, with participants actively networking, exchanging contacts, and reconnecting with long-standing colleagues. Conversations flowed naturally across the room, blending focused business discussions with moments of familiarity and trust. The overall organization and professionalism of the event stood out, while Ivorian participants were notably well represented—what the French often describe as “remplie de bons élèves,” a room filled with high-caliber contributors.

In a more personal moment, I later met Dr. Élie Nkamgueu, who greeted me with a warm smile, saying, “Hey Uche, I’m happy that you came today.” What followed was a brief but meaningful exchange between old acquaintances—one that reflected the spirit of continuity and shared vision that defines this initiative.
As the event unfolded, there was a palpable sense of momentum—an intuitive confidence that SIAP 2026 was not only well organized, but positioned for impactful success.
The occasion also carried a moment of distinction. I was honored to be awarded the Gotha Noir d’Europe by Me Solange Siyapdje, Vice President of Club Efficience—a recognition that further underscored the event’s spirit of excellence and community.
Through this initiative, Club Efficience reaffirmed its commitment to accelerating real estate development across Africa. By bridging institutional frameworks with financial systems, the organization aims to transform diaspora interest into tangible, secure investments.
As SIAP 2026 progresses, it continues to position itself as a key driver in shaping a more structured, accessible, and investment-ready African real estate ecosystem.
