Dr. Rita Amachree is a respected advocate for women’s empowerment, good governance, and gender equality. She is the Founder and National President of the Association of Nigerian Women Leaders in Diaspora (ANWLD), a Washington, D.C.–based organization dedicated to advancing the rights and leadership of Nigerian women and girls.
With extensive experience in U.S. public service, including senior roles in regulatory oversight and compliance, she has built a strong reputation in public administration, policy advocacy, and fraud examination. She has also served as a Commissioner of Attorney in Maryland and provided advisory support to government institutions.
Dr. Amachree holds advanced academic and professional credentials in public administration and management. She continues to champion democracy, accountability, and women’s leadership as essential pillars for sustainable development in Nigeria and beyond.
